Spectrumedics is an innovative medical device start-up delivering disruptive technologies to address unmet clinical needs in the treatment of cardiovascular diseases. The company was founded by the scientist-engineer duo who possess more than 10 years of industrial experience in the development and manufacturing of minimally invasive cardiovascular devices. Spectrumedics is highly dedicated to product innovation.We focus on the integration of energy-based technologies with interventional techniques. Spectrumedics has developed a platform technology that supports broad clinical applications to overcome the various challenges of cardiovascular calcification. The first application of the Sonico Intravascular Lithotripsy would be in the treatment of stenotic calcified lesions in the coronary arteries.
